Platform Animation Festival, June 2006.This photo was taken during the closing night ceremony at Platform. The festival was the first of many for the Halogen crew (only a party of 2 at this point). Will and I stand, slightly inebriated, with Mr. John Canemaker a world renown animation historian and Academy Award winning animator.
Hanging out with Mr. Canemaker as well as the plethora of other amazing moments that we experienced at Platform was the tipping point I needed to turn the dream of Halogen that I had in my head into a reality. We'll call this photo The Birth of Halogen.
